there are two styles of radios....one requires special tools...one doesnt...

first look at the radio...if there are two holes on each side....about two inches or so apart verdically.....find your local snap on...mac...matco...etc guy and buy a set of ford radio removal tools...they are about 15-20 bucks....

if there are no holes.... you need to remove the whole dash trim. its all held in with push pins...just be carefull not to break them...then 7mm head screws hold the radio in place....

If you have the radio that has the four holes you can get a metal coat hanger and cut it into 6" pieces. You need 2 of them. Bend them into u-shapes and stick them into the holes which releases the clip and then pull the radio out. Not trying to knock Marc but really no need to spend the money if you have a metal coat hanger lying around or should I say hanging around.

nope, your right TJ...that will work...only thing i have seen is if you are not carefull...sometimest that bends the tabs the wrong way and then your fighting it even more...thats the only reason i dont give the "cheap rout" in my answer...but if done right..a coat hanger will work...

You can also get those radio removal tools from bestbuy, circut city, walmart or anywhere that sells car audio for the most part.
