For a gauge pod on the A-Pillar, the grab handle is removed.
If you need the handle you could use an overhead gauge mount or something similar.

I don't use mine all the time but I still want to retain it. So, I have been eyeballing this mount.>> 99-04 Ford 2 Gauge Instrument Bezel Mount Autometer 15003

Or most likely wait on the SCT Livewire to finish their probe and use it for all my gauge needs.

I have the overhead mount and I like it...also, I'm liking the column mount for my boost gauge.

Depends on how many gauges you are putting in... There is a single pod that sits under the handle... That way you get to keep the handle... I was considering that one because the only additional guage I would put in would be a pyrometer... Granted I know the factory guages don't really tell you much but they are sufficient... I would like to know what my EGTs are though... Specially pulling my 5th wheel....

Ken....

I have the Bully dog Outlook monitor. I bought the a-piller cover for another 40 bucks and it allowed me to keep the grab handle.
