LED Bed Lights

Not sure if this would be the right place. I am looking to put LED lights in the bed of my truck so I can see what's back there at night. Coming into winter it is a pain to hold a flash light and dig through crap in the bed of the truck. What are you all using for this application? I looked at PUTCO but I called and they said they were discontinued?? Thanks.

S/F
Alex

The RECON system looks pretty nice.

I think Raul sells them.

Buy a sting of 'rope lights' and a small power inventory, run the lights under the lip of the bed, or in a loop along the ceiling of your cap. Definately wouldn't be a nice or slick as the above options, but it would be a heck of a lot cheaper!

Or better yet, just did a search and they make 12v rope lights, first match was at Cabela's, which they advertise for use in boats in your rod locker. Search Cabela's for item: IK-016310...~$15 for a 6 foot sting. Buy 2 and one run down both sides for $30.

Amazon has some also: Amazon.com: LED Tri-chip Crystal Ribbon White 12V(0.5M/reel): Kitchen & Dining
Figure there are a bunch of other 12v choices out there.
