Never tried that. I bought my truck a little while ago and the seats were DRY DRY DRY. I got some stuff from a horse tack shop called Leather CPR. Worked awesome. I think there is some of that oil in there. It smells like it anyways.

I've seen where other people have recommended that CPR. My seats have about 53K on them and are real dry as well. They've been neglected not abused. Did it bring back the softness to your seats and restore the color?

Yes it did. It didn't happen overnight though. It took me at least a week of applications to get it back. They look great now though. And the stuff does not stain your clothes. Buy the BIG jug. Cost me 30 bucks and i used almost the whole thing. I put in on like sunscreen and it just kept soaking it up. Works great though.

A week of applications? Just put it on as soon as the previous is dry? I put the King Ranch conditioner on with my bare hand and rubbed it in. Do I do the same here?

Same sort of thing. The first few time i put in on, i put it on very heavy and it got soaked up very quickly. Then i buffed it with a cloth for a bit and did it again later. I did this in the summer when the cab was hot so it may take some more time in colder weather. The leather cpr is runny like sunscreen.

I am overseas working at the moment or i would put up a photo of how the seat looks now. It looks so much better.

My center "up-down" storage container door was in really bad shape. It actually had a layer of varnish-like stuff on it that i had to gently use a green scotch brite pad (soaked in leather cpr) to get off. If you do that be very very careful with it. After I had to buff it very hard with a cloth to get a nice finish back because it came out dull at first.

I know what you mean, my console is real rough shape as well. When I get this stuff on, by way of your advise, I'll let you know it turned out. Thanks. Gonna checkout the website as well.
