seat covers: marathon vs wet okole

hi I've got a 05 250 and i want to protect the seats the best i can...its not so much me but my dog (75 pound retriever) and even though I've put towels down and blankets he still is marking up the seats I was thinking about seat covers...I'd like ones that fit really well (don't move around)...and look good...

I've got all black leather interior(and black carpet) with grey dash/trim...so I'm trying to figure out which color to go with...all of the marathons I've seen are camo which would hide any stains well...not sure which would look right with a black interior...anybody got any pics??? I was thinking of just solid black...

There seem to be lots of choices out there... the wet okole's are likely the best but I don't know if the "wet suit" material will stand up to a dog...the marathons seem to be built of a more durable/tough material but if i get the front and back done are they comfortable???

thanks for any help or suggestions

I had set of Marathon covers in my F-150 and loved them. They were the camo ones but they were wateproof, incredibly durable, and they looked amazing. Now when I first put them in they were a little scratchy but after a month or 2 they were fine. I can't wait to get some for this truck so I can keep my leather lookin good. Sorry for not havin pictures of any black ones but hope this is some kind of help

I have the Marathon's in Mossy Oak BU and they are some great covers. I'm really impressed with the 500 Cordura fabric. I doubt your pup would tear through these anytime soon.

I don't know for sure but I'd guess it's either the overall thickness of the material or the weave of the fibers that make up the material. Either way it's tough stuff like the larger Camelback backpacks such as the Motherlode for example.

Yeah I have the grey leather with the gray and black dash. When I get it I'm goin with the camo cause I think it does look good with the gray. My F-150 had a gray interior as well so I'll look later when I have more time and see if I can dig up some pics of it. Maybe that would help more
