Question for one of you body guys
I want to smooth some of my interior dash pieces starting with my A piller gauge pod. I'm planning on painting them the black exterior color. I guess my question is, how do I prep the parts? Do I skim the parts with body filler and then sand, or do I just sand the plastic until it's smooth? I want a smooth glossy finish but I want it to last, any advise?
Thanks Scott |

Some people use fiberglass resin and sand it smooth for paint. It will probably hold better than body filler.
