06 radio removal?

Hi,

Can anyone out there tell me how to pop the factory radio out? I need to get an aux converter in my truck asap, but it looks buttoned up so tight I have no idea where to start!

Thanks in advance!

You have to pull the dash face off first, here's the procedure:

Yep, pull the dash and disconnect all of the swithes to it. then its down to 4 screws, pretty easy... just be careful when your yanking on the plastic and take your time

Thanks guys! I figured it was something like that but the fit & finish is tight and clean, I just didn't want to start prying at it.

Is this the same of an 08 F350? I've been thinking about upgrading my radio.

No, in 2008 they changed the dash design.

Here's the info for 2008 and 2009 Superdutys:
