PPE?

i am looking for a new chip/programer..iv had hypertech and was pretty impressed..has anyone tried a ppe or have suggestions...

I always thought PPE was a big duramax thing.

they offer much more for duramax but does that mean its not worth anything for a powerstroke?

I know ya see people like me in every thread like this but here it goes... I think you should spend the extra money and get something good like sct. Just my 2 cents

SCT is cheaper. I ran a PPE for 10K miles and the only thing that could be improved on it is the shifting. Sometimes my truck would get shift shock but other than that it hardly smoked and had 0 not even one bit of turbo lag. I'm selling my PPE because I'm selling my truck. PM me if your interested.

The only thing a PPE is good for is a Dmax. DO NOT run one on a powerstroke. Your transmission will hate you. Get a custom tuned SCT

ok thanks for the help and obviously sct is the way to go so could someone explain how one works..do u update the with a usb and computor or do u have to send it in..which tunes come on it..it u want to change tunes how do u do it..so on and so forth...

I know, what I was sayingg is that I have always heard to not waste your money on PPE on a powerstroke. duramax is different story with PPE

you plug your sct into your port under your dash and get the strategy and email that to who ever is going to write your custom tunes for you. then they'll email your tunes back to you and you upload them from your computer to your sct. its pretty simple!
