ok 6.0 gurus

I need some counseling.

My buddies dad just picked up an 04 6.0 and he wants to build it. I'm not sure what kinda of horsepower he is looking for but I know he wants a reliable street-able ride.

This is a list I have so far of items for it.

the obvious
exhaust, gauges etc...


1) SCT (of course) and some good tunes
2) itp regulated return (or similar)
3) ARP headstuds
4) egr delete kit
5) tuned FICM
6) air dog2/Fass


5) maybe some new injectors
6) maybe industrial injection turbo (or other non VGT turbo)

what else are some basics for the 6.0 that I might have forgotten.

2" level kit, exhaust, SCT, change the oil regularly and drive it like you stole it.

Tuned FICM. Ditch the II turbo trash. Get a pro charger or Non VGT turbo.

honestly, for "reliable"... I'd ditch the injectors and larger turbo. Wildman's headgasket removal tune, PHP FICM, parts listed above...

MOST people would be amazed.
