Exhaust Wrap?
Just curious if exhaust wrap would be beneficial at all? I don't know if it has been posted on here before, and if it has, I'm sorry if its repetitive. Just curious is there are any benefits to it or not?

No benefits from wrapping the exhaust.

Alright, I didn't know if it would help lower EGT's and whatnot.

not unless you are making TONS of power, for a driver its not any help

Welp, I got a 150' of it for free, I'm sure I'll figure out something to do with it?

Make a bullet proof vest out of it.

![]() ![]() Now theres some thinkin! |
Well, anytime you can reduce heat under the hood, its a good thing. Could help with spool up and egt's under a load
and void the factory coverage on some exhausts thay dont like it it will hold the heat and bake off any coating it includeing alum coating

I plan on wrapping my intercooler piping and probably down pipe and up pipe when I do my egr delete. Mainly for a cleaner look and its gonna help with heat under hood and help lower intake heat I you think about it
