SCT Help

I am working on programming my buddies 07 6.0 with an SCT x3 with innovative tunes. I got the latest firmware and updater but when I hit "Load Custom Tune File" it brings up a "failed to read data" error and then when I press OK it says "Not a Valid SCT Device"

Any help? Please try to put it in normal language, Im not to good with computer crap

Thanks

O and Eric said that he never seen this before and told me to uninstall the updater and reinstall it. It's still doing the same thing after trying that.

I put on the right firmware and its still doing the same error. Does the SCT have to be on a certain screen? Also even just pushing "Display Device Setting and Serial Number" results in an error, "Unable to read Data"

Could it be a faulty X3?

Try pluggin in your SCT before you turn on liveload. You sould get a prompt that said Press ok once your SCT is at the main menu. I know with the X3 they are having a few issues with tunes being locked with serial numbers dont know if that is affecting you. Did you update all your drivers as well ?

I was also getting this error today. I found it worked better on my old cpu with vista 32 bit it would not work on my brand new cpu which is vista 64 bit.
