My Future stroker set up
Okay guys i just bought a 2006 F350 six speed powerstroke with 45,000 miles. So stoked! My mods are going to be MBRP cool duals without the cat, and either the SCT X3 programer with gauges or the SCT livewire by innovative. Do you know if their is any differ between the two? i have done alot of research and seen that the stock air intake's on these are good until like 500 or 600 horses. I want a dependable diesel that tows really good and has good mpg's. I dont need a drag truck or a street racer just something that is dependable and has all the power one can have with the stock tranny and stock turbo. Any further suggestions are very appreciated! Thank you in advance!

Sounds like you're on the right track. Delete the egr while you're at it.

K great! im new to the diesel world how much is a egr delete kit? and can you do it by yourself or is it better for someone to? Keep the advice coming please you dont learn unless you dont ask

Elite diesel has the best kit I have ever seen. you can also chose the sneaky pipe
![]() 6.0L EGR Components This is the best I have seen so if any of you found better tell me I wanna know ![]() Ford Products This also is a good option but its not classified as an EGR delete system. This is mainly to prevent the y-pipe from cracking but it does eliminate Exhaust flow to the EGR system ![]() I'm getting the Elite EGR delete but I'm debating if I should get the delete with out the up pipe and get the Liberator Y-pipe system. Since mine is a 06 do i need the coolant redirect pipe? i mean if i dont i thats 200 dollars i can save. I'm guessing to be on the safe side i should get the kit with the pipe and the new gaskets. I only live 60 miles from Elite Diesel engineering so i should get it fast when i order it.
