EGR Delete questions

I got a 04' 6.0L with 4 MBRP turbo back and AFE stage 2 intake. I have never chipped it and was looking to either clean the EGR or do the EGR delete kit. I've done my research on the cleaning but would like to hear from someone that did the delete kit themselves and the outcome. Mileage improvements, power, starting, idling, smoking, etc?

any help would be great, thanks

good question. delete is for future problems with the cooler, but i wonder if one was to keep it (egr) cleaned if that would help with your concerns? i dont really see how it would help with milage unless you have the scoop pipe up pipe. that is a restriction that can go.

I could be wrong, but I don't think that the 03-04's have the scoop in the up pipe. That started in 05

2004 did not have the scoop...so i believe you are right.
