cel for egr valve after doing egr delete.

I deleted my egr cooler and put a plate where the valve was. I have tried 2 different tunes one from spartan archive tunes and one from dfuser that was supposed to shut off the egr but still get the the 2 trouble codes. If I plug in the egr valve they go away. I have a early build 03. I thought getting a custom tune would get rid of the codes.

custom tuning should eliminate that , call the tuner and see what they say

you are used archived tunes..that are known for being problematic..use at your own risk. I would highly suggest getting a custom tune from Eric @ IDP and telling him you have a EGR valve delete and tell him the DTC codes you have coming up and ask him to disable them.
