Intake Manifold Question
First off, is a aftermarket intake elbow worth it as far as performance?
And also what is the difference between a large and small mouthed elbow? Also, a little off the subject but should i get a new fuel system, rather then the intake elbow? or what should i look at next for performance? Thanks everybody, this forum is a big help to a amateur. |

I have a CFM+ Largemouth with the larger piping and felt no noticeable increase in performance. I'd spend the money elsewhere.

You won't notice any difference with an aftermarket elbow. I'd suggest saving your money for the fuel system, or ditch the edge and get an SCT and gauges.

the only plus to an intake elbow is that you can get one with pre tapped ports for nitrous or a boost gauge. other than that its all for show. Even with the intercooler I didnt see any performance gain, only slightly cooler EGTs at highway speed. good tuning is a muchbetter use of your money

the stock elbow gets smaller at the bend. a new one will help. but the most effective would be fuel depending on what you get.
