SCT with a 6 Speed?

As I continue to read and learn, I see everyone talk about the SCT tunes and the improvment on the shifting of the auto. It seems that this is one of themajor selling points of the tune, as it cleans up some problems with the slush box.

I have not seen anyone talk about tunes with a manual truck. Does it not makes as much a difference as on an auto? My first mod will be an exhaust, but I have thought about a tune later this year (budgets what they are). Any experience would be good to hear.

there are guys that run em on hand shakers in here...the tuning doesnt even compare to anything else out there...its unreal...the sct helps the auto trannys ya but the tuning your engine gets is some of the best...your shift points and all of that are in your hands not the trucks...so as for that...you make up the "tuning" of your trans...but once u get ur custom tuned SCT..youll need to hold on

ve got an SCT with some of DJ's tunes in my 6-speed truck...hauls a$$ man.

The only bad thing is that it is hard to shift it fast enough, but it will flat scoot. You will not be dissapointed in the performance gains.

I would like to ride in a auto trans truck set-up like mine once, just to see the difference between the two...but I would never trade my hand shaker.

2005 F250 4x4 6.0L PSD, 6 Speed hand shaker
Dark Shadow Gray

SCT xCal2 with DJ's Tunes, MBRP Turbo-back Offroad exhaust...bye, bye kitty and muffler.

Finally studed, EGR deleted, blue spring, Zoodad and AFE CAI
