4'' Or 5'' Exhaust ??

I Have An 07 F250 And Im Looking To Straight Pipe It All The Way Out With A 4 Inch Stainless MBRP Or A 5 Inch MBRP And Im Gona Use A 7 Inch Tip. Which Will Be Louder And Have The Best Sound?? I'm New To The Powerstrokes And Have Always Ran 4 Inch On My Cummins Cause It Was Louder Than The Fives, Is This The Same For The Powerstroke ?? Any Help Or Opinions Greatly Appreciated !!

unless you wanna push over 500hp you will be wasting money on a 5"... a 4" is plenty and still has a great sound

I had 4" duals and then this current set up. I like them both. The looks I get now are worth it to do a 5" system again.

I agree, I have a 5" and it sounds great. But unless you want big power i wouls stay with the 4". Forget the straight pipe. Loose the cat and add a nice straight flow muffler..

I'm Not Really Looking For Huge Power Just Gona Add A Intake And A Chip In A Couple Months Im Mainly Just Wanting The Best Looks And Loudest Exhaust..Would The 4 Inch Not Be Louder Since Its A Smaller Pipe ?? That Was Always The Case With My Cummins I Had

I just ordered a 5" to replace my 4" exhaust. I wanted the deeper exhaust tone, my 03 turbo gives me plenty whistle.

Performance: SCT Xcal-Innovative Diesel, 4" Turbo Back Exhaust no muffler and kitty missing, Spearco IC, ID Power Elbow, AFe Stg. II Intake, 03 Turbo.

Looks: Westin Black Powder Coated Bull Bar, Recon Smoked Cab, Mirror Lights, and 3rd Brake Light, 4" Superlift kit, 35" ProComp Extreme A/T's, 18x10 Diamo Black & Chrome Rims.

5" Straight is sick on my 7.3, I could imagine the 6.0 would be similar

I want your 4" pipe from the cat back if you need to get rid of it.

Just PM me if you do not have plans for it.
