Exclamation I GOT SMOKED!!!

I have an 06 powerstroke with an intake, ccv mod, intake elbow, itp regulated return set at 70 psi, 5 inch dual exhaust and when i race i run Tadd's insanity tune. My cousin has an 03 6.0l with a 4 inch exhaust and an intake and he just bought a PPE chip from me to try. i wanted to race him to see if it could hang with my SCT. He was on level nine, 191 horse at the flywheel i believe, we made two runs, both boosted 4x4 launches and he smoked me both times! He just kept pulling away!! How does Innovatives tune compare to Elites, anyone know? I need to switch to something else for sure whether it is tunes by someone else or a PPE chip.

you do know the o3 turbo is suppost to produce more hp right. the only real performance mods you have are a tuner as well. all the stuff you have done are supporting mods. i would try one of the spartan tunes like ase or hybrid race see how you stack up.

Eric's extreme race tune will dust anything out there. i ran spartans ultra comp. tune and the extreme race was ten times better feeling b/c of torque converter lock-up and alot faster.

yea get innovatives tunes you will beat almost anything...i pulled up to an 06 mustang gt and got him to race and by the time i hit 85 he was still a good 10 car lengths behind me

I knew that the 03 turbos flowed more air. A new turbo is on the list for the near future. I will have to give innovative a call and get some tunes. Im kinda surprised that Elites tunes arent that good. I always thought they were but dang. I will try to get is done this next week and let you know how it compares.

I had spartan's hybrid race and then switched to extreme street from innovative. Extreme street is much better, I can only imagine extreme race.

The '03s are almost always the faster years of trucks. Between the turbo and the trucks early strategies they run harder. I'm curious too what the weight differences between your 2 trucks are as well. If one of you is a CC short box and the other an Ex cab short box that's a huge factor as well. Weight will be a bigger factor than horsepower in the race you speak of.

Our trucks are both 4dr short beds so our weights should be pretty close.

find a 03 turbo and put it on your truck with innovatives extreme race tune. you should be neck and neck
