help build my 6.0

i want to do intake exhaust and programmer on my 05 6.0 i want the best possible matches for satisfaction for my dollar. money isnt a big deal im just wondering what works best all together.

i was looking into a hypermax performance combo with mach 7 programmer and 5" exhaust. please tell me if this is not worth the money. i want this truck to be able to impress me every day i wanna jump in it and get groceries or pull something. i am also looking for a lot of smoke.

All you need is a SCT with some custom tunes from Innovative, dont mess with with hypermax..

programmer---sct with custom tunes is prolly 95% prefered here
intake---stock is good up to 500hp but I think afe is preferred here
exhaust---4" is big enough for the mods you are lookin at. Brands dont really matter its all mandrel bent tubes.

And dont forget guages to monitor everything I have everything listed except intake and I am impressed everytime I drive my truck

Skip the intake and use the money for a set of gauges. Pyro, boost, tranny temp... 4" turbo back any brand will do. Use stainless steel if you live in a climate conducive to rust. SCT Xcal3 from Innovative diesel with an Xteme tune will put you 400+ RWHP. The Xtreme files don't smoke much at all, and believe me there is no need to blow smoke. It's just wasted power and makes people look like total tools on the street. Save the smoke for the track...

Here is what I would do:

1. Tuner: SCT from Eric at Innovative with his custom tunes
2. Any exhaust will do, go with the 5" if you want a deeper tone
3. Skip the intake and do gauges. I know alot of people say Trans Temp, Pyro, and boost, but for the 6.0 I would recommend Pyro, Oil Temp, and Coolant Temp. Most of the problems these trucks have can be diagnosed with reading the EOT vs the ECT.

Also if you're really not strapped for cash I would recommend throwing some kind of oil filtration system on there like the FS kit and also totally deleting the EGR system from the truck. It isn't a matter of if the EGR cooler will fail, but a matter of when. Get that puppy out of there and make your Gaskets and Oil Cooler a lot happier!
