Got the SCT installed today (vid)

Holy crap...I was grinning ear to ear for about 45 minutes driving around this evening. I was running the street tune, and I can't imagine what the extreme tunes are like. I'm VERY impressed with the power and throttle response. Unfortunately it seems a little too wild for my everyday driving.

Here's a vid of a little revving and 03 turby whistle

I took it back out after my first post to see how a WOT takeoff was. My tranny slipped from 2nd to 3rd and sent me into the rev limiter. There might be some tweaking left to do...or do you think it's just my tranny???

When you first load a tune, either performance or stock, you need to run the truck a little bit before you really start to get on it. The computer has an adaptive learning process that it needs to go through. Needs to learn everything over when you change the tunes. I am not a tech, but was told to let the trans get to atleast 100 degrees before I start to really get on it good also.

After talking to Ted at ID about the same thing with my truck, he said that it's caused by a 'lazy solenoid', I called it a shift flare but it did the same thing to me on the Extreme race tune. Be sure your tranny filters (x2) and fluid maintenance has been done on schedule, and do what 06F250FX4 said and drive your truck for a while (like 100-200 miles) before trying to peel all the rubber off your tires
