VGT OR NON-VGT

Well I know which VGT (ATS VGT-4000, 65/88) I will go with but I just don't know if I have all the information needed to say yes to a VGT or yes to a NON-VGT... I know if I go with a NON-VGT it will probably be a 64/77 (at the suggestion of RCD). My goal is 550hp+ (fuel)....and daily driving at 500hp.

Simply, what is the pro's and con's for them both. More things to fail on a VGT I know...but I am looking for information on spool up, mid and top end, ability to cool, ability to tow without working too hard ect...... given my current mods I have happening with this 04.5 build. Please I need to hear......

I'm curious about this also. What do the numbers mean (4000, 65/88 and 64/77)? I eventually want to upgrade turbos as well.

thats funny i just said 64mm on the other thread lol. duk go read what i posted in the other thread i dont want to retype it lol. the numbers are sizes. 65 is the size of the inducer on the compressor side.

with either turbo and a good tune you should be well over 550. i recommend calling eric though lol.

No worry guys, I am going with a VGT turbo.......some place in the 64mm range
