which turbo is the loud 10 vane turbo of the 6.0 2003 the early ones or the lates ones or both the same?

i believe the 03 and 04 are the same. i dont think they changed till 05

Count the blades on the turbine side as long as there is ten it's good to whistle. The biggest difference is the compressor housing sliencer ring on the early-03 turbos could be easily removed, the later versions are cast into the housing.
