Undecided.

I have an 04 F-250 4x4 with about 75,000 miles on it and I want to buy a programmer but my truck still has a warranty. I guess I have a couple questions...if i buy an SCT with custom tunes I need to get gauges right? Where can I get the SCT tuner for the best price? Is my transmission safe? Is it worth
it?

I agree! Eric's tune are the way to go! Also, I have a 04 and its out of warranty. The engine is 100,000 miles or 5 years. I was pretty ticked when the dealer told me that. I thought it was good for 100,000 miles but 5 years came first.

I have 6 months left with my warranty....I wasn't aware that I had a warranty until i called the dealership for a quote and he told me to give him the vin # and he said I was in luck.

I was even thinkin of buying an extended warranty just to be safe because of all the problems that can occur with my truck.

On a second note I had a 97 F-250 that roaled some coal and I kinda miss it. If I bought an SCT with custom tunes what would I be looking at as far as price?

I really dont want to beat on my truck...I want to take care of it. Maybe then, it will do the same for me.

Zoodad mod and open up the exhaust and your motor will be fine as long as you get gauges and keep an eye on your EGT's.
