intake elbo question

i was thinking about getting a intake elbo but they seem to be really pricy do they really make that much of a differnce for that much $$ any input would be great!!

are you upgrading your intercooler and plumbing as well. or just wanting to put a bigger elbow on

i didnt have any plans on upgrading my intercooler or plumbing all i got done is a sct chip intake and exhaust and my full egr delete kit is on its way then the 03 turbo is getting ordered this evening and as far as the $ i see them around 250-300 what is the best place to get it from if you guys think i should get one!

If you can find one cheap i think its a good idea... but if your going to be buying new well... thats up to you.. i think their a lil pricey but thats just me

it's nice to get them with the pre-tapped ports though for water/meth or a boost gause or whatever else you want to put there.

I have a CFM+ largemouth with piping and there is no seat of the pants improvement in power.

i made my own with 1/2" plate and a 3" 90 deg elbow just take the old one out and jig the base plate from that find the rise you want for the elbow and get a 3" to 2.5 rubber reduction hose to connect it all. i will be makeing thies soon. if you need , great functionality and cost!
