Tunes for Highway Driving.

Just bought an SCT from innovative and waiting for my tunes from Eric. Running some spartan tunes for now till my others come in. Dont have guages yet but I dont beat on my truck at all. Going for fuel economy only. Is it going to be safe to drive on long road trips with hot tunes or will my EGT's be a problem as I havent any guages yet so I dont really Know.Input please on hot tunes and road trips.

My x-race from Eric runs about 700-750*F @ 70mph and upwards of 900* on steep hills at the same speeds.....I would say you would be good.

Not sure about the temps with no exhaust or intake though.

Spartan ase yeilds about 1200-1250 @ around 70-75 mph with stock exaust from a stop. Hybrid race is at the same temps around 50-60mph. Ase is a fairly cool tune. Hybrid race can get hot quick. I have a stock exaust so my numbers will be higher that a mod exaust. Crusing the hiway temps depend on load both of the above can range from 4-900 degrees dependant on hills wind etc.

That sounds HOT you need more air in and out
