New truck this week what for mods

Should be getting my 07 F350 this week, Just looking for some mod suggestions... Would like to do exhaust, programmer, gauges and intake if needed

Most people will tell you to go with SCT for a programmer with customs tunes by Eric. The stock intake is good for up to 500hp from what I've read on the forum. Stealth Automotive has i nice priced SCT tuner and gauge combo i but i you give them a call they might work something out if you get an exhaust at the same time.

First and foremost, welcome to the org and congrats on your new to you truck! It appears as though these guys have started you on the right path. I would ditch the cat and muffler and get a good turbo-back exhaust and let that baby breath. The SCT with custom tuning is the way to go for both mpg and power for the 6.0L. A set of gauges is important to know what is going on with the your truck. There is no good reason to spend money on an aftermarket intake unless you are trying for serious horsepower by putting in bigger injectors and installing a different turbo. The factory intake will serve you well, so spend that money on something else. As far as tuning goes there are a couple of good tuners out there, just ask around I am sure folks will be glad to tell you who they are.

Do what Awil said, or get ahold of Raul from Stealth Automotive. Raul is a sponser here and sells the SCT with Eric's tunes. He will also put together a package deal for you with exhaust, guages, and SCT
