Stolen needs.Top end rebuild. What parts to use?

My truck was stolen 2 weeks ago from the collage parking lot the police recoverd it the next day. With out my fifth wheel, tool box, blackberry, and gps. It is in OK shape body wise insurance is going to paint the truck and replace, the rear seat, ingnition and the tires they burnt off. The engine is now leaking coolant from the the valley still runs good but seems to be missing at idle. I got a quote from ford for $17 000 to repair the top end.(head gaskets, injectors, egr\oil cooler, and a turbo. Insurance says they will pay me to rebuild it if I want to do it myself (I'm a licenced heavy equipment mechanic)and thats the route I'm taking. I would like your input on what parts to use I would like to upgade the injectors, turbo, studs and do a egr delete I know I will still come in way cheaper than the ford price. I would also like to know where to get a manual on the engine for torque specs etc.
My main goal is fuel millage and relibality.

OEM head gaskets and ARP studs. Make sure to mill the heads to ensure they're true.
FCDP egr delete, GOS performance also makes a decent one.
Aftermarket VGT like a VGT-SS from elite or industrial. If you want to go non VGT I'd recommend the Industrial 62/70
Stage 1 (150'ish) or stage 2 (190cc) injectors.
ITP regulated return fuel kit or Trusted performance stage 1 or 2 kit.
Airdog or new Airdog 2 stand alone pump.
Don't forget to have Eric adjust your tunes when you're done...

yes they have a welded intake manifold for their egr delete kit

You should call Josh at River City Diesel and see what he has. He can definatly build you bigger injectors and turbo. His website is pretty new but he is really down to earth and really knows his stuff

That's the FCDP kit. Eric resells them for Adam.
