Opening the exhaust up...

Im about to order an exhaust system and not sure if i should delete the cat and the muffler or one and not the other... the less restriction the better to a certain degree correct? with a 3 1/2 in down pipe to 4in the rest of the way out do u need a little back pressure to help the turbo spool? Is there any pros to running a cat? I don't have emissions test here so thats not an issue. Is it loud or just really deep straight thru? Let me kno what ur thoughts are.

Most people say that a turbo creates its own back pressure. Id say straight pipe it. I love the sound of mine!

Straight Pipe it, with no muffler or cat, it is the only way to go on a 6.0L. I have a 4" exhaust on mine and absolutely love the way it sounds. Like I said before, you can't go wrong with a straight pipe on 6.0L. Also, the turbo has enough backpressure and won't sacrifice any time spooling.
