whats a safe level to chip and 04 6.0L

I got a 2004 F-250 6.0L stroker i got it straight piped and ordered a cold air intake i was wondering what and if there is a safe level to program it to without putting headstuds in to keep the head gasket from blowing I wanna use it for milage, towing, and playing around now and then

It just varies man, some trucks people beat the crap out of and the gaskets hold and others have stock and blow hg's. Its just the luck of the draw

i think you'll be safe with most custom tunes that are popular from guys on this site (Eric, Cale, etc). your tunes are written in respect to what mods you have. get studs done and you can have a custom "stud" tune written and so on. don't be afraid of custom tunes, if your not driving it like you stole it all the time, you'll be golden

depends if you can get it in under warranty or not. If under warranty then 100 deductable plus parts if not under warranty then prolly around 2k or more.

It depends, some will some won't, but typically those that do will have you foot the bill for the studs.
