Thinking about buying Sct

I am thinking about buying the Sct tuner. I have a 06 f-250 with cold air intake and 4' exhaust no cat. Does it let you adjust the speedo for larger tires. I just want better mileage and better shifting. Also do the custom tunes cost extra or are the canned ones good enough for what i want.

Thanks Zach

the sct is great for better mileage (if you can keep your foot out of it), and better shifting but it does not allow for speedo adjustment for larger tires. I would contact one of the vendors on this site for your sct needs. Usually when you purchase the SCT you get 3 custom tunes for it. As far as the speedo calibration goes I would go with the speed wizard from here Speed Wizard Speedometer Correction it is the best product out there for calibration.

you can enter the revolutions per mile but that does nothing for the speedo it is for the tranny from what I have seen on mine

Does this mean when I get bigger tires I would have to change my revs/mile on my sct tuner?
