Another stud question

Now i am sure this has been asked already but im too lazy to search. I would like to get a tune with tranny tuning also, so the best choice would obviously be the sct, now if i have a stock tranny will the canned tunes be too hard on it? and are custom tunes just that much better on the tranny and studs? i dont have studs or and egr delete and dont have the funds to do that now, so would i be okay with just straight piped exhaust with a custom tune?

I dont want to install a tune and try it out one night and have to replace the studs and tranny the next day

Any help appreciated

i would say 90% of people running a SCT with custom tunes is not running upgraded headstuds or upgraded transmission

I've got about 10k miles running the exteme street without studs (but on the things to do list) but did pull the EGR cooler as a precaution, usually when the do blow you hundreds of miles from home

I went the opposite route and planned to stud and delete before I tuned. Ended up doing it all at the same time however. As far as the tranny they are pretty tough.

On an 03 all you need is the block off plate not the full delete. I run around in x race all the time, and I def don't have a light foot.
