What Chip/Tuner is best for me?

Hey guys,
I've got a 2004 F-350 6.0 Supercrew Shortbox 4x4 auto.
I've got the procomp 6.5" lift and 37s on it.
I am rigging it out as my welding truck, and want a chip/tuner thats going to give me some better mileage and some more power, especially for the weight i'll be carrying around, but nothing thats going to give me reliability issues, something that will flash my trans would be good too I think. I've already got 4" straight piped exhaust, and plan on doing a stage 2 AFE intake. Any other suggestions on mods I should do? Thanks for the help guys, much appreciated as this is my first diesel! Loving it so far.

- Greg

Welcome to the Org! What you want is a SCT with Custom tunes. This will tune your trans and is the best thing for the 6.0. I would recommend getting a extreme tune for the power and also that gives the best milage

Dependant on weight for tuning. High hp tunes and lots of weight don't mix. The stock intake is far more superior to the aftermarket (no real gains in hp or performace for the dollar) get a egt gauge minimum and a tranny gauge. Other than that watch the temps and drive it. The tuner for tcm tuning and custom tunes is sct xcal 3
