EGT probe

I've seen a ton of threads on here saying if you get a "quality" probe you won't have to worry about it breaking. I have an Insight on the way, is the edge probe a quality product? Am I stuck with a edge probe regardless or will another companies probe plug into the insight?

I'm sure the Edge probe is a quality product. I wouldn't worry about it.

Not sure but I think it is proprietary to the Insight. With that said, I have had mine in for about 6 months now and havent had the first issue with it. Just make sure you put it in correctly the first time and it will probably be there as long as you own the turck
