Which nitrous switch?

I picked up a nitrous kit of off a local guy here, but it did not come with a switch. I was planning on just putting a hand controlled switch on it but a guy over on the Nation said it would tear up the motor. I really don't need anymore power off the line right now thats why I didn't want to put a throttle position switch on, I would just like a little after 2nd gear. Why would a hand switch tear up the engine? What kind of switches do you guys run?

I dont see why using a hand switch wouldnt work. Put it as a momentary push button switch and you will be ok. you could even do a toggle switch before the push button to arm it ya know? that way its not on all the time.

I had a TP switch in the mustang, but I was spraying out of the hole, so its a bit different. Just remember to remove your hand from the button, and you should be fine.
