GOOD ECon tuner?

hey im new here just purchased my 06' 6.0 and im looking to get a good mild tuner with a good econ tune built in for a reasonable price. thanks for all the help in advance

Go with a SCT with custom tunes. You will get great fuel economy and excellent drivabilty and power when you want it

Spent 200 on a used SCT X Cal 2 online then paid 30.00 per tune from Cale... Cheaper yet custom also!!

I am sure Cale can set up an economy tune...

I TOO AM NEW HERE. JUST GOT A 2008 F250 FX4 WITH A 6.4 WHICH TUNER IS BEST FOR THIS TRUCK?

I would actually go to the 6.4 forum and post that question, but I would be willing to bet in that case I think the Spartan tuner has the market on that one. Even some of the die hard SCT vendors for the 6.0 would recommend the Spartan tuner for the 6.4 engine.

thanks for the nice warm welcome guys,.the kind of the tuner i am looking for is just gonna be a plug and play not too much power nothing i can hurt my truck with, and something with a good econ tune.Thanks.

FYI you have a better chance of hurting your truck with one of those plug and play units than you do with a custom tuned SCT.

Take a look through the 6.0 forums and see what the majority run. It wont be Banks, Hypertech, Edge, Bullydog or the like. I will bet on that
