So...I bought a used SCT X3
I bought a used SCT X3 off Criagslist and I can't make it work.
here's the deal. I plug it in and it says "invalid tune for married vehicle" Did I just get screwed? I'm assuming that I just paid good money for a locked programmer. Any way I can fix it? Thanks!

When you plug it in it should tell you how many unlocks are left. What does it say?

if it is a newer SCT X 3 then it prob has custom tunes for that owners truck.. which means you need to buy custom tunes for your truck...

They work on a wide variety of engines including gas and diesel. Also span several years. It will stil work. Thas just probably the vehicle he had it on.
