Just Loaded SCT Street Tune

And all I can say is wow. Really impressive. Power is unreal. I thought that maybe it was a more aggressive tune but then I checked the settings and it was defaulted to "street". Everything seems so much smoother. Really want to get a custom tune but can someone tell me what the benefits are of getting a custom tune? The pre-canned tune seems really nice. Thanks much.

Like anything custom it boils down to: it's how you want it to be and because of that it's the most efficient for you(or in this case for you and your truck). In other words, the sky is the limit with what you want the tune to be capable of doing and it gives room for expansion if your fever for more hp producing mods continues.

^^ Thanks for the reply. Like I told my maintenance guy at the ford shop when I asked him about a tune, I'm not looking for it to be fast. I have the stage three 12 second Rubasu Legacy for that. I just want something to help it perform a little better, maybe get a little better gas mileage, and help the duration so if something like that is possible, I'm all for it.

Custom tuning gets you closer to obtaining those goals versus pre-loaded tunes. I can't promise you'll get them(depends on a variety of factors) but chances are you'll be able to obtain those easier with custom tuning.
