Mag Hytech Products

I occasionaly tow a large 5th wheel and a 24' boat. I have my trans wired with a temp sender.

I am very fanatical about watching temperatures while I pull. What is the average (good) temp that a transmission should run?

The real question...........Is it worth investing in a Mag-Hytech trans pan or Differential cover when my temperatures never exceed 165*-170* on my trans

What do you guys think?

Thank you

Its never worth investing in one of the oversided pans.

The thing they dont tell you is when you do get the fluid hot it takes twice as long to cool.

You would be better off investing in a larger trans cooler if you wanted to do anything

Well from what I understand the temperatures I see don't even come close to "hot" even while towing. I'll stick to stock, it's free and paid for.

They are proven to decrease temps, slightly. They are good for added fluids and the madnetic capabilities when needes.
