New to the 6.0

I just bought a 2003 f-250 and got rid of my Dodge and I'm glad I did!! I am in love with this truck so far. But my question is I want to safely upgrage the truck. What performance parts should I buy and stay away from, and should I get a EGR delete kit?:

DO THE EGR DELETE!! Then head studs and an sct, gauges, and exhaust. Youll really start to love the truck once you start making even more power! Congrats on the truck and welcom to the org.

The studs can be had for under $400, try and labor is $$$$. I doubt you're under warranty still. I would do it yourself. If I was out of warranty I definitely would have done mine, but I was lucky enough to find a dealer to do mine. I've heard labor quotes anywhere from $1500-$2500 just for the stud install.

i think i calculated it out a couple weeks ago, but you can make 420 hp, give or take, for right around 1,000 dollars..

SCT W/ custom tunes
FARMBOY EXHAUST
GAUGES

as for the studs, if you have them done under warranty AWESOME..but most likely that wont happen..i went to the dealer and they quoted me at 5000 dollars with labor, and not including parts..i looked around for a bit found a diesel shop in town that will do it for 2400..thats probably what you will spend if you want to get it done
