Aurora 3000

Not alot of talk about the Aurora 3000 for the 6.0, why not? I hear they are getting some good reviews and if they are anything like the dodge aurora turbos, the should do well. Anybody running one or know of somebody running one. Cananybody give some feed back, good or bad?

Unless they have changed the specs on the 3000(based on their website it doesn't look like they have), that turbo is actually smaller(althought not by much) then the stock turbo. Which has it's advantages and disadvantages. Going smaller with the turbo with the sticks that you have wouldn't be that great of an idea.

If it was me, I would get a turbo from River City(which I have), you don't need to mess with the otherstuff that comes in ATS kit. It's just pedestal and turbo, everything else bolts right up for a total of a 2 hr job.

Their turbos range from 62mm to 71mm. I got their 64mm.

I don't know about the 4000 and 5000 turbos, when I was talking to them(actually long before I got my turbo) they only had the 3000 available. There kits also included an intake which they do not now. Is there any particular reason why you seem to be sticking with the ATS turbos?

You know I think there was somebody that put this turbo on their truck and it took like a month to get everything done because they were sending it off to ATS or having things sent to ATS to get done. Something cowboy. I haven't seen him on here in the longest time. He would actually be the one to ask.
