SCT canned tune users ONLY!!!

I know this will be hard and I know there are plenty out there who will still post that only custom tunes is the way to go, but I'd really like this thread to be used by all of those who have chosen to stick with the SCT with the factory canned tunes and have them tell pro's and con's if any. Especially like to see any replies from those that have come from another tuner to the SCT-Canned.

i run the x3 sct and run street or performance most of the time, i have the extreme race from innovative which is balls out fast, so i dont use it to often in fear of blowing a hg or something else, the canned do fine for me as a daily driver w/ some good smoke on performance.

SCT Canned Vs Cales tune, really to me feels more just refined trans shifting.

The SCT canned runs great, but for $25.00 I dont see why you would have to stay out of the box tunes.

Sorry you didnt want to hear that but its really true. Thats what makes the SCT better over Edge, superchips, banks etc.

i have never had any trouble with my canned tunes as of right now i have no custom to compare them to but once i put it on performance and had the tranny lock at all points the shifting was fast i mean very fast in overdrive at 35 40 mph but i was just playing around with it. i think someone had a edge or something on this truck at one time because when i set the tuner [sf3] to firmer shifts and aggresive tow haul it shifts great for about a day or so then it get sloppy and doesnt always shift the same maybe my trans is on the way out

Sounds like issues with the Apaptive Learning of the transmission to me!

so what do i do to fix it unhook the batteries what is the adaptive learning do anyways if there is some way to solve this issue i would like to know

I run the canned tunes in my wifes EX. I am happy with them in it. It will run with my Spartan tuned F350 so I am happy.
