Cales tunes on my truck......

Just wondering what everybodies opinions are with shft patterns? I loaded Cales Street tune and I am having issues with the shifting pattern. First off, 1-2 and 2-3 come on rather fast, well fast shift pattern, then 3-4 holds are really long time and when it shifts its very harsh. OD comes on and its really harsh shifting and hunts back and forth. The light throttle driving is ok if you ease through all gears, the med throttle driving is harsh and inconsistant and the WOT is very harsh and very inconsistant and hunts between 3-4 and OD. I e-mailed him and will call him in the morning. I know its not a tranny issue because with the canned performance tune my shifts a firm and on the money and the OD lock up is smoother. I guess I want a tune that shifts firm but not harsh and holds the gears more consistant. Right now with cales street, its not there. I hope we can work the bugs out... He is a nice guy....

I called today and ordered 3 tunes. Super cool guy. I am sure it will get worked out. He told me he prefers phone calls also.

Nobody else have any issues with shifting and had to have him make adjustments

The file could have been corrupt. Did you take it easy for the first 10 or so miles?

I don't like it when the truck shifts real quickly ie. short shifting. I prefer to carry each gear out farther in the rpm range sort of like a gasser. I have had that complaint about almost ever tuners trans tuning except DJ. I still run my DJ Looney tune for the trans shifting even though I have tunes from others as well. They all seem to make similar power.

I did speak with Cale and he asked me to run the tow tune. I did and the shifting was alot better but a tad too firm for me. My tranny shifts firm even with stock programming so he is setting some other tunes up and sending so i can try them. Basically I need the tunes with near stock pressure. He is a nice guy and working on it for me.........i will keep you all posted.

Hey guys, cale is sending me some new tunes with different shift patterns, how do i delete the old tunes off of the sct before I load the new ones? Help please
