just got sct

just got the sct tuner, says that i have to pull info off the truck first send it to email to dude, then he emails me back the 3 tunes? i thought it was a plug and play right from the dealer...only reason im asking is i waited 11 days for it to get here and wife took truck today and she won't get home till late...so i cant tune it till tomorowafternoon........just wanna make sure im understanding this all right....not the smartest peanut in the turd

you need to plug in the sct to get your engine codes then you send it along with all of your other information to someone like eric and innovative diesel, then you tell him what three tunes you want. it does cost money for the tunes though. he will send the tunes back to you in an email and then you load them from your computer onto the sct. then load a file and

hmmm i thought it came with 3 tunes and it was included in the purchase price, got the tuner gauge combo from stealth automotive/raul

if you call sct they will give you the tunes, thats atleast what they did for me..they have UNBELIEVABLE customer support. all you have to do is call them up and they will do EVERYTHING for you.than all you have to do is plug er in.

The first thing I would do is call the the company (stealth/raul) I spent my money with and make sure that you understand exactly what you purchased.

Raul is on this site pretty frequently and has a great reputation. Call him up and get clarification.
