Finally Got my Duals.

i was currently running 4" turbo back strait pipe, got bored of it and ordered a cat back dual kit. i need to wait for the snow to melt so i can put it on but was in debation of putting the muffler on it or not. my old magnaflow muffler i had was about 3ft long i put it on and didnt like it after 10 mins and straight piped it. this new muffler is about a foot long now im thinking its probally not going to make much of a noise diff being mufflered or strait piped because of the muffler being so short??

Duals are installed, i put the muffler on this time and daamn is it quiet at idle.

I have Maggie 4" duals too. I ran it with the muffler for a while and it is surprising how much that little muffler makes a difference. I straight piped it when I swapped in the 03 Turbo. That muffler really quited the whistle down too much.

yeah the muffler sucks, is there a better muffler out there? i dont want to go back to straight piped just yet.

I didn't mind the muffler when I had my 05 turbo. It was nice and quiet at cruise but got your attention when you hit the loud pedal. It just dampened too much of the turbo whistle with the 03 turbo and isn't that why we all put the 03 turbo on lol.

just shovel the snow out of the way and put a tarp down and get to installing lol
