HELP PLEASE!!!!!

How in the #$@% do you get the down pipe off a 6.0 the quickest and easiest. I got mine off on my 7.3 no problem but im fighting this one bad. Ive tried twisting it in every direction and still can't get it. Im ready to sawsall it off up as far as i can and then i think i can get. Any help.

i put mine up on the drive up ramps and had just enough room to get it out, took a little smacking cause it was tight to the ground. But if you can get it up higher it would make it a lot easier just keep turning.

get a light and look both up top and down low and see where and when u need to rotate it.!

i have a lift and ground clearance no problem. i mean ive twisted and pulled and hit it from the top and the damn thing wont come down. The heat shield aint helpn me either.

im not giving up on it i believe i can twist it out like you say but man i have twisted it in every direction and it wont come down. it hangs up on the bracket on the back of the moter that i think is used to lift the motor out

I cut mine off at the bend, the other option would be to take off the cross member.

Most people usually take a sawzall because of the crossmember! If you want to save it GOOD LUCK! If not do like Tim Taylor and fire up the power tools!!

i must be doing something wrong because i hacked it off already and the cross member no problem im even thinking it needs to be cut off up higher because i cant twist it enough to get it to drop. that bracket on the back of the motor seems to be the biggest issue

Quickest way is to take a sawzall from underneath infront of the crossmember and cut as high as you can on that sucker and then just wiggle it and rotate it out.
