RPM's at 70mph

Just thought I would ask what everybody is seeing for RMM's @ 70mph or so. Where is the best RMP range to be in with the 6.0 for milage and for power while cruising.

I turn about 2,000 rpm at 70 mph with 3.73 gears and I am running 295/70r18. I get about 15.4 according to the lie o-meter stock and 16.2 with my old superchip. Hope this helps.

running right around 2k rpm's with 35's and stock gears @ 70 mph, rough calculation of fuel mileage is around 14, which is a little low in my opinion

18.5 hand calculated this weekend running 72-73 hard to tell on spedo running 2000-2100 rpms lubbock to dallas to canton then back to dallas (almost no stop and go) aprox 510 miles with the last 50 miles 80-85 because of traffic. I have 3.73 gears and 265/75/16 tires and am running a x2 with spartans ase.... I had 49 miles left on the tank but found diesel at 1.93 a gallon... I could have gotten better mpg I think if I had have driven 60-68 but as it is 73 seems like you are crawling any slower would have drove me crazy

I am running right around 2,000 as well. I have 3:73's, 285 75 16's, and a six speed. According to the inaccurate display I will do best at 55-60 in 6th gear but most of the time I am in a hurry and that speed doesn't cut it. My hand calculated highway that I took on a trip to North Carolina was just under 20mpg driving conservatively while pulling a large pop up camper.
