Boost gauge question?
Going to be ordering my gauges in a couple weeks. Going with DiPricol Optix gauges. Wanting opinions on whether to go with a 35 psi or 60 psi gauge. I'm going to be running an SCT with Innovative tunes eventually but not sure what kind of boost I'm going to be making. Thanks for any input.

Thanks Raul. Any idea what kind of boost I'll be seeing?

I put a 35psi on my 06, same gauges too!
My stocker always looked like 30ish, with the optix I can clearly see I hit 33-33.5psi. This is with extreme street, I haven't tried the race yet. The 60psi gauge seemed like overkill, wish they had something in between. |

That's exactly what I was thinking. I have no idea what my boost is with the stock tune and the 03 turbo since I don't have a factory boost gauge. They need a 45 psi gauge.

go with the 60...i got the 60 and it sometimes goes over the 35 point...you'll be maxin that guage out

I have yet to go over 35 but mine is an 06, so maybe with the 03 turbo you might touch over that... I haven't needed to yet. Mine only spikes to 33 on long hard loads, and I have to really roll into it slow, its a lot faster with full throttle and under full throttle it drops back down to 25 or less.

60,, you'll peg a 35 on X-race with an 03 turbo under hard throttle

I would go for 60 psi for two reasons 1. Allows for upgrade to modified or a/m turbo that puts out more then the stock turbo and 2. Range of display, you can see what your boost is more accurately then with a 35 psi.
