Summit 4" or 5" for exhaust

Has any one used the summit racing exhaust on there 6.0? I was looking into doing an exhaust on my 2005 dually any I do not want it very loud, but I do want a turbo back, for possible upgrades in the future don't know if I should do a 4" or 5"?

dont like that muffler design lol... if you had to keep a muffler on the truck i woudl do a straight through design to get less restriction...

if your looking for a AL kit straight piped let me know... i can get you a better deal than what your getting through summit

I definitely think I want to run a muffler just because of noise, what would you recommend?

Summit racing you can do a 4" turbo back for i think $299....can't beat that..and its the same freakin thing as MBRP or anything else..as far as a 5" they dont make it. But im telling you Summit its the same muffler and same tubing as the "big name" brands..its like buying Walmart ice cream..same as the $5.00 a gallon but much cheaper!

Still need to know which is better the 4" or 5" , the only other thing besides the exhaust I may add a SCT tuner but nothing crazy, this still has its stock head bolts and gaskets, and I don't want any issues.

Zombie,

there is no difference in performance between the two. It all comes down to the sound and tone of the exhaust note. The 5" will be more of a low end growl/rumble and will over all be louder than the 4". That's the only difference. Judging by you saying you want a softer exhaust note, I would stick with the 4".
