Flowmaster, etc.

Well, I am fixin to do my exhaust and what I want is a deep tone with as much whistle as I can get. I dont want my exhaust too loud. Has anyone ever heard a flowmaster or similar type muffler on a 6.0? I am going TB with 5" pipe. any feedback appreciated!!

Just go with a straightpipe, that will get you plenty of whistle

I've heard a lot straightpiped trucks and I would rather not have it so loud.
I would like it to have a deeper tone and not so loud. I was wondering if a flowmaster or something similar would accomplish this. I figure it would kill the whistle though....

I would look at aeroturbine or hushpower mufflers

5" straight on a 6.0 will be plenty deep with plenty o' whistle. It won't be loud unless you really get on it. You could always go back later and put a muffler on it if it was too loud to suit you.

Thanks Superduty King, I appreciate the info. The flowmaster sounds pretty good to me. kinda what I am looking for. I will look around to see what else I run across but it may be a Very likely candidate.

the place i work has a couple ingersoll-rand forklifts with cummins diesel engins in them.. and for the exhaust a couple guys put cherry bomb glass packs on them. its crazy loud..if only they made 4 inch for my truck, id be willing to try
