Smile BLOW OFF VALVE!!!

if any one has a blow off valve on their truck will you post your pictures up here

Is it even possible on a diesel? LOL

Isn't a blowoff valve for when a gas engine is in high boost then you let off the pedal and the throttle plate closes, causing all the extra pressure.

yea it is possible but they are not need

A B.O.V on a diesel cures the reverse pressure on the turbo, same as gas, just a little different since a diesel doesn't have a "butterfly". The reverse pressure does bad things to a turbo, it tries to stall the turbine.

i think it would be cool sometimes, but might get a little annoying..maybe only cool at the track. but that setup above is pretty sweet, did he just weld another pipe on to the banks i/c pipe? looks pretty simple

I don't think you can put a BOV on a VGT turbo, it needs to be a fixed geometry.
